Synopsis:

The time is December, 1933. Eleven-year-old Annie has lived her whole life in a New York City orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. After several unsuccessful escape attempts by Annie, Grace Farrell comes to take the child to stay over Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. The plucky orphan steals the hearts of Mr. Warbucks, his staff, and even the President! Although Warbucks wants to adopt her, she still wants to find her real parents. Miss Hannigan's brother, Rooster, and his sleazy girlfriend, Lily, pose as Annie's parents in an attempt to gain the $50,000 reward that Warbucks has offered to Annie's real parents. With the help of Grace, FDR, and the FBI, Warbucks resolves the situation and Christmas day ends happily for everyone (except Miss Hannigan, Rooster, and Lily).
